a voicetesting experiment [OPEN]
He wasn't sure what had hit him, if he were to be completely honest. The man groaning in pain as he held his throbbing head with one hand, while the other pressed down against the ground, his fingers digging into the dirt to keep him steady. The last thing he remembered was... Shibuya, of course. Covered in various rifts, making the entire area incredibly unstable. All the while, Saya continued to evade him, to run from him. Jumping from rift to rift. Hopping between worlds and locations and times. Disorienting him.
And from there, nothing. Almost like he'd blacked out somehow, leaving him with a worrying gap in his memory. There was one thing that he knew for sure though-- he'd been dumped through a rift. The area around him wasn't immediately familiar to him, and he had enough experience with inter-dimensional travel that he could practically feel the difference in the air, even if there was no scientific basis for something like that.
Call it a gut instinct.
"Saya, what the hell have you done now..." He groaned, finally pushing himself up to his feet. Closing his eyes for a moment, if only to see if that somehow made the headache go away. It didn't. "For that matter... where did you leave me?"
